What are your standard payment terms? 50% at the signing of the contract, and balance due the day of the wedding. .
What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? We at VOW feel confident with our event planning talent, so we are confident in not needing such a policy. .
What is your event cancellation policy? We have a 60 Day Cancellation Policy. All deposits are not refunded should a client cancel 60 days prior to the event date. .
How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? We recommend that all clients consider hiring a wedding planner atleast 6-12 months in advance. .
What makes you different from other local coordinators? Why should someone hire you? What makes VOW different is the quality of our V-Team. We have an exclusive team consisting of a photographer & videographer. You book me and you book my extremely talented team. Sort of a one stop shopping experience. Less Stress. Less Hassle. .
Do you charge hourly, a flat rate or a percentage of my overall budget? VOW Wedding Consulting offers a range of packages. We work with the clients to customize what works best for them. We take into consideratio the budget and usually charge a flat fee for our services. VOW also have an Ala Carte Menu to choose from which is charged on an hourly basis. .
Can you assist with travel plans for out of town guests? Our honeymoon plans? Yes.
Do you charge for an initial meeting? If so, is this amount credited should we hire you? No. The first consultation is always complimentary. .
How many hours are you on site the day of the wedding/event? From the moment my client wakes up in the morning till the last song! We are there all day depending on the clients needs. .
When developing our wedding/event budget, how do you personalize this experience to our needs? Of course, every client is different. You can not under any circumstances have a perfect mold for every client. It would never work. .
Are you present at all vendor meetings? Do you pay the vendor fees and we pay you one lump sum? I am present for all the meetings my clients want me to be present for. As far as fees are concerned it's worked out with the client. It's what the client feels most comfortable with. But we have done both type of arrangements.
What is the largest wedding or event you’ve managed? 250 Guests.
What if you become ill or cannot come to the wedding? Who will stand in for you? I have a very competent assistant that has worked with me on numerous weddings. But in my many years of experience I have never missed a wedding. .
Do you employ other people to help you plan events? How much extra for additional staff? Yes, I have two assistants that I work with depending on the size of the wedding. It depends on the size of the wedding and the clients needs. .
Do you recommend specific wedding professionals? Did you get referral fees? Absolutely! I have worked with a great team for a few years. I do get referral fees..
How do you assist in planning a wedding? What services do you provide? We sit down with the couple to discuss a budget and their needs. We then work our way through the Must Do list to make sure we have covered all the needs. We provide Full Wedding Planning Services from start to finish or simple Day of Coordination Services. .
